For Teachers

Thank you is a word that a teacher can never hear enough. Each day she/he goes to work with a heart filled with passion, dedicated to making a difference in the lives of students.

I have been blessed to have some incredible teacher's in my life. They have taught me many lessons that I will never forget. They may never read these words but I wanted to tell them "thank you."

Mrs. Hesterman
Thank you for allowing me to be your student teacher in high school. Thank you for taking me out to lunch, convincing me to go to college, and for following up with my father years later to make sure I did go. You showed a love for your profession and your students that is truly rare. I hope to be as wonderful as you.

Mrs. Lasky
Thank you for showing me how to make each parent and child feel special. You took the time out of your day to learn about my family. When we had to suddenly move due to my illness, you were still my son's teacher. Months later you sent him valentine's cards from the whole class. It still brings tears to my eyes.

Mrs. Wilson
You continue to be an inspirational teacher even after retirement. You have taught me that the spirit in which you present yourself in and out of the classroom is all you need to make a difference. Your zest for life is contagious. You said that one never has to grow up or stop learning, thanks to your example, I never will.

Mr. Eyre
Thank you for teaching me to see past what a child is can't do and reaching for what he can do. You taught me that teaching is about finding the right tool for the right child at the right time. Once you have that tool, the child is then capable of doing anything.

Mrs. Hall
Thanks for being the best friend a girl could ever wish for!
